Recovery Act Accomplishments
Broward County’s Stimulus Grants Coordination Office has posted a report that provides Recovery Act Accomplishments to date. This report highlights the stimulus dollars awarded to Broward County overall, as well as the $50 million + awards directed specifically to Broward County government. Twelve stimulus grant projects have been awarded, five grant applications are in progress, and two future opportunities have been identified.

Students Count
The Census Bureau counts students, whether they are in-state or out of state, where they attend their college or university. Students living at their parental home while attending a college or university should be counted on their parental census form. Census Day is April 1, 2010.

95 Express Premium Bus Pass Sold Online
New, premium 31-Day bus pass can now be purchased online for $85. The pass allows unlimited rides for 31 consecutive days on the new 95 Express bus service, and is also accepted on all regular fixed route buses. Also available is a premium 10-Ride bus pass for $23, good for up to 10 rides at any time.
