Should you receive a Notice of Violation, please correct the problem on or before the date provided in the notice. A time extension can be granted with approval of the issuing code inspector, provided you are making progress in correcting the violation. However, health and safety issues require immediate attention. Although a regular inspection of your property will be conducted during routine patrol to determine compliance, you may also contact the Community Code Compliance division at 954-765-4400 opt. 42 for a re-inspection once the violation is corrected.

The County is authorized to remove accumulated junk and debris, cut overgrown grass/weeds, and remove junk property when an owner fails to comply with a legally served Notice of Violation. The costs to remove such items are imposed as a lien against the property.
