The Health Care Services Section of the Broward Addiction Recovery Division of the Human Services Department provides administrative support for the following contracted service provider programs:
Mental Health Provides administration, monitoring and evaluation of contracted service providers for adult inpatient psychiatric services to ensure that quality services are provided to medically indigent consumers experiencing a mental health crisis.
Primary Health Care Provides administration, monitoring and evaluation of contracted primary health care service providers to ensure that quality services are provided to indigent client consumers in accordance with the Health Care Responsibility Act (HCRA). The Health Education program provides a high caliber of accessible health education programming that will increase awareness regarding appropriate disease prevention strategies.
Ryan White Act Title I HIV/AIDS Provides administration, monitoring and evaluation of the federal funding for low-income persons and families with HIV/AIDS - Ryan White Act Title I. Funds are awarded to agencies which provide medical and dental diagnostics and treatment, case management, pharmaceutical, transportation, housing homemaker/companion services, community respite child care, and psychological counseling.
